Naming day ceremonies are a fantastic way to welcome a new baby to your family. They are also the perfect way to celebrate the welcoming of a child to your family through adoption, or as a step-child through marriage.
Perhaps you want to celebrate your new identity as an individual with the world. Whatever your reason for wanting a naming day ceremony, I'll ensure it is a day filled with joy and love.
Naming days are a beautiful way to celebrate new life, or a new chapter for you and your family. I'll get to know you and your family and create a truly unique ceremony filled with love.
I will meet with you and find out exactly what you want your special naming day to include. I'll send you a personal questionnaire that will really help me to get to know you and your family and create a ceremony that reflects you and your child. I can advise you on special symbolic elements you may want to include such a tree planting or sand ceremonies.
We'll work together to ensure your naming day is perfect. All you need to bring along is love!

A Ceremony Consultation via Zoom
Want to decide if I'm the right celebrant for you? No worries. Before you make any commitment let's catch up over Zoom and you can ask me all the questions you like.

Ceremony Planning Meeting
Once you have decided I'm the celebrant for you lets meet up at a venue of your choice for a coffee, a glass of wine, or simply via Zoom if you don't have the time. This is when we will go over all the details of your naming day and talk through all of the things you may want to include in your ceremony to make it truly amazing! Your day can be as simple or as elaborate as you like. There are no limits!

Personalised Questionnaire
I'll send you a questionnaire with that will really help me to create a unique ceremony for your child, or for you. All those little stories of how your child came into the world, what their personality is like and what your hopes and dreams are for them will contribute to making your naming day truly memorable for you and your loved ones.

Writing of Your Personalised Ceremony
Using all the information from our meetings and your questionnaires I will create a ceremony that you'll remember forever. You will have unlimited edits of your naming day script. It won't be signed off until you are 100% happy with it.

Help Choosing Symbolic Rituals, Readings and Music
I will be on hand to advise you on readings, music and symbolic rituals that will make the naming day super- special.

Unlimited Contact
I'll be on hand whenever you need me. You can drop me an email, send a Whatsapp, or pick up the phone whenever you want to ask me a question, or run new ideas by me. I'll be there for you to take the stress out of planning your big day.
On the day of the naming ceremony I'll be at your chosen venue in plenty of time. I'll advise your guests on what to do and what their roles are on the day. You may have chosen 'guide parents' or mentors for your child and I will speak to them before the ceremony so they know exactly what to do on the day.
I will deliver your naming day ceremony with all of the special elements we have discussed.
You'll also receive a Naming Day certificate (if you wish to) as a keepsake of your day.
You and your loved ones will be left with the most amazing memories of the naming day that will last a lifetime.
Please note that the cost for ceremonies held in 2024/25 is £350. For ceremonies beyond 2025 please enquire for pricing.
Travel expenses are charged over 40 miles, at 45p per mile.
Naming ceremonies on Saturdays from April to October will be charged at a higher rate. Please contact me to discuss this.
